John Deere X9 1100 combine features a John Deere Power-Tech™ PSS 13.6 L engine rated at 603 hp (450 kW), a 330-gallon fuel tank, and a 22-gallon diesel emission fluid tank. It has a dual-rotor threshing and separating system with rotors measuring 11.5 ft long and 24 inches in diameter, a 460-bushel grain tank, and a peak unloading rate of 186 L/s (5.3 bu/sec). The combine has a total cleaning area of 6.97 m² (75.02 sq ft) and a hydrostatic drive transmission. Using two forward, cab-mounted stereo cameras – and pre-harvest satellite field images – the X9 generates a predictive field map AND constantly measures crop height and crop density. The combine takes this data and automatically adjusts ground speed BEFORE entering changing crop areas. With the Adjustable Auger Spout, you can adjust auger positions right from your cab. The cross auger shutoff automatically empties your unloading auger. Two 24-in (609-mm) rotors offer 45% more threshing area and 80% more separating area for better threshing and separating in high-volume crops.
