2023 Kubota BV5000 Series BV5160R
The Kubota's BV5000 Series, features a variable bale size of 4' wide by 5' high with an 86" wide pickup capacity for fast and efficient pickup. An Intelligent Hay Density system allows you to pre-select between three different bale densities right from the tractor cab, and that's just the beginning!

High capacity – extra wide pick-up
The BV5000's extra wide pick-up of 86” (2.2m) with twin cam tracks offers superb crop lift performance. The pick-up is designed for high capacity and efficient intake providing smooth and even crop flow into the baler chamber.
Intelligent density
With 3 pre-selectable bale density settings "Intelligent Density 3D" makes it easy to choose the correct bale density in different crops. Each of the 3 crop type presets change the desired density in each of the 3 bale zones. They can also be manually adjusted by zone for further customization.
SuperCut knife chopping system
SuperCut 14 or 25 knife chopping system provide fast and efficient crop flow to the bale chamber. An ideal solution for producing tight, dense bales that livestock find easy to feed on. The operator can engage specific knives for flexibility of crop cut length. The 14 knife model while chop crop down to 2.75" (70mm) while the 25 knife models will chop down to 1.57" (40mm).
Full ISOBUS compatibility
Operate all necessary functions and manage relevant parameters at a glance using either an onboard tractor ISOBUS monitor or your selection of GO or PRO ISOBUS monitors available with the baler. The terminal also drives the automatic binding feature.
PowerBind net wrap
The patented PowerBind net wrap system standard on Kubota balers allows Kubota to get away from the old high-wear feed rollers. The net is fed directly into the bale chamber by injection plates for maximum tightness and injection accuracy.
Superb bale quality
The bale chamber offers a combination of 3 rollers and 5 endless belts, providing smooth bale rotation and reduced crop loss even in dry conditions. Two aggressive front rollers are designed to perform in wet silage and ensure efficient bale start in all crop conditions. The results are very firm consistent bales with a moderate core ideal for easy stacking and transport.
Parallelogram drop floor
The Kubota Parallelogram drop floor system makes it faster and easier to clear blockages from the comfort of the tractor cab. This patented system not only lowers the rear edge of the drop floor as per traditional systems, but also provides additional space under the front section of the floor, where a blockage is more likely to occur.
Heavy-duty driveline
Heavy duty split driveline features automatic chain lubrication, remote greasable bearings on fixed rollers, strong roller shafts and bearings, and cam clutch protection. High reliability and low-maintenance.
Grease bank & chain auto oiler
Grease banks and automatic chain oilers allow easy lubrication of essential components lowering maintenance intervals and increasing life span.
Durable endless belts
